Nick Romain has been serving in youth ministry for over 10 years and currently pastors at Hope City Edmonton. He is passionate about the Gospel and believes that Jesus is the answer for those searching for hope, purpose, and transformation.
Nick’s heart is to partner with the Holy Spirit in helping people encounter Jesus and step from darkness into His marvelous light. He is committed to raising up the next generation to know God, live boldly in their faith, and impact the world around them.
When he’s not at church, Nick enjoys Brazilian jiu-jitsu, great coffee, and cheering on the Colorado Avalanche with his wife, Malaya, and their son, Henry. Known for his energy, authenticity, and sense of humour, Nick loves sharing the hope of Jesus wherever he goes.
BREANNA NKIWANE
WORSHIP LEADER
Sup! My name is Breanna (but my friends call me Bree) and I'm so hyped to meet you! I hail from Royal View Church in London, Ontario where I pastor youth and young adults. Some of my favourite things include God, people, rice, and doing almost anything creative. But one of the most fulfilling things I get to do is see people of all ages step into adventure with Jesus. It was the best choice I ever made, and it hypes me up to see the Next Generation make the same pursuit of His glorious purpose for their lives.
JOHN-MARK GIANCOLA
SITE PASTOR
John-Mark is the Youth Pastor at Calvary Assembly in Cambridge, Ontario. Along with his wife, Natalie, they have been in youth ministry for 11 years and shares a love for serving the local Church and seeing students discover who God has made them to be. He is a proud father of two kids, Levi (9) and Ellie (6), supporter of all Toronto sports teams and is excited to be at Momentum!

-
Ideally, chaperones should be at least 19 years of age. Please invite only those people who are out of the relationship you trust to chaperone your youth. Be cautious to ask those in whom you are confident to be effective prayer warriors and mentors for your kids to model. We recommend that all chaperones are screened and go through abuse prevention training. To monitor the moving around that tends to happen during services, chaperones are asked to sit with their group in the sanctuary to provide adequate supervision. Please ensure that chaperones disconnect/monitor tv viewing, especially late-night tv. If your church is unable to send an adequate number of chaperones, you might consider contacting another pastor to assist you.
